Goodbye

What once was cannot be undone

You look happy, yet it’s still the same.

It’s best we don’t talk at all.

When I see you I won’t say “Hi!”

You hurt me,

You made me cry,

So many times I cried for you.

But that is over now.

You will no longer hurt me,

No longer will I cry for you.

I shall follow the light that will lead me to happiness

And I will take my time finding it,

I know it is out there.

So this is goodbye,

I bid thee adieu,

So long

And fair well.

Good bye my old friend,

It’s a new day and a new start.
